How do I block someone on facebook so that person's info won't show up on my "News Feed"?

How do I block someone on facebook so that person's info won't show up on my "News Feed"?

I don't want to delete that person I just don't want to see the new photos, news and stuff.

Any Help?

First go to your News Feed. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the screen. In the middle-ish of the page at the bottom is a link that says "Options for Top Stories." Click it. Now look towards the bottom right of the next screen. There's an area that says "Less About these Friends." Type your friend's name in the box under that and you will see less stories about that person, if anything at all. I think it might even NOT show you any more stories about them.
