How do I book this Vacation?

Question

From JFK to Paridise Island Bahamas

I can't find a flight to that airport from anywhere in NJ or NY

And if you look at this map it says that this is the only airport there:

But I plan to go to Atlantis in Paridise Island, and I don't want to drive all of that way!

Please show me sites and wether I have to fly to that Nassau airport and then from there go on a plane to paridise island.

This is confusing me so much!

Paradise Island no longer has a commercial airport.. You'll need to fly into Nassau (NAS)

Jet Blue, Delta, Spirit and USair all leave from NYC airports and Continental flies from Newark direct to NAS

Fly to Nassau then take a taxi from the airport to Paradise Island.  For two people the taxi fare was about $35.  If you book a package through the Atlantis you can add airport transfers in the package and not worry about a taxi at all.  I would save the money for a private flight from Nassau to Paradise Island though,  it's only a 10 min drive.  By the time you boarded the plane took off,  landed,  and actually got to the Atlantis.  you could have been sitting by the pool drinking $13 daiquiris for an hour

You fly into Nassau, Bahamas (NAS) and take a taxi to Atlantis.

No need to fly to Paradise Island, a bridge connects the two islands. Paradise Island is beautiful.
