How do I break a lock?

I lost the key to one of my drawers, and my mom said she would call the locksmith or something and have him break it open, but ive got something in there I really dont want her to see (it belongs to my gf) so I need to get into the drawer ASAP help!

Look at the back of this peice of furniture.  It might just be a thin peice of masoite held in with staples.  You might be able to carefully seperate it and reach into the drawer.

Or when the locksmith gets there, text your freind to ring the doorbell to distract your mom (when they're about to open the drawer).

Or slip the guy a $10 and tell him to not "open" the drawer until mom's out of the room.   Hey, he was young once too.

get a small knife that can fit in the hold for the lock and feel for the tumble and slowly turn the knife until you hear a click.  I had a trunk that I lost the key for and this worked for me.  Good luck getting it open before your mom does.

Hiding something from mom is not good. Mom is an adult and she will understand. She might freak out as all parents do but then she'll get over it. Moms there for a reason.
