How do I break up with my girlfriend of one month; I cheated on her?

I essentially settled for my current (probably now ex girlfriend) as I felt like there would be no other options coming my way and she does like me a lot.

However a few days ago I had hooked up with a girl and have been doing so guilt free. The fact that I was able to do so without a shred of guilt is indeed disgusting but the fact of the matter is that I should not have started getting serious with this girl in the first place if my heart wasn't fully into it.

My current girlfriend is coming back from a month abroad and is expecting me at the airport with her friend tomorrow night. However I have these monster hickeys on my neck and that I doubt that is the first thing she would want to see.

I expect that there will be no clean way out of this, but I really need some pointers in the right direction for the dirty opening salvo. THANKS

first of all take a comb to the hickeys tonight the color will fade by morning and then cover it with makeup. then after you pick her up at the airport and get settled but  before things get heavy between you two that evening sit her down and tell her that you things are not going to work between you two...make up something about not being compatible

Don't go to the airport...call her and text her telling her you met someone else and wish her the best of luck. Tell her you are sorry it didn't work out.

You've already answered your own question.

This is a common sense thing. You don't love her or like her. Tell her what you did and be honest with her. Break up with her. She deserves better.
