How do I bring out the back image to front in photo-shops?

Question

I want to blind and want to bring the back picture in front of the front picture.

As in like to bring the boat picture in front of the sea picture. How can I do that. Please if you know how help me out.

Relayer your PSD so that the image you want in front is on the top of the layer list.

Open the layer pallet.

you see the list of layers?

when you say, "want to blind" , do you mean turn off the layer that you see in front?

if yes, then click  the box on the left of the name of the layer so the box is empty

when you say," bring back the picture in front of the front picture"

do you mean

make it the top layer?

if yes, grab the layer by click and drag and pull it up to the top of the list (in the layers pallet)

After you do this a few times it gets easy.

I think you go up to WINDOW, on the drop down list choose show layers.

The bottom is under the rest, so after you place the boat on the top, you will see it. ( unless the area around the boat is opaque.

if you want to clear the area around the boat to let the background layer show through,make sure you are on the boat layer first, then take your magic wand and click on the area of the boat layer that you want to delete.

a sparkly outline will show you what you have magic wand ed

and then press delete.

Then go back to the box that you turned off next to the background and turn it bck on by cliking th little box.

I have found that if I make a copy of the whole file first;maybe it is under edit, then duplicate,( not sure where, you will find it though)

and i work with copy of the file, I make sure I do not  delete my original.

Keep going- this is the hardest part of learning photoshop.

i am not kidding.  when i started, i had to actually have a photoshop expert sit next to me and show me over and over- until i got it.
