I am taking up cross country in my sophomore year and I am a little worried that i might die (not really...figuratively) anyway, i have played soccer for 10 or 12 years but i have very little endurance(i am a sprinter)

We have practice everyday, any tips on how i should pace myself or prepare myself so i can raise my endurance?

  1. While you are running try not to stop!!

also push yourself to go farther as you start to get better

a good way to get your mind of of the hard work is listening to your ipod or running with a friend.

    Hope This Helps.

  2. Run everyday except for Wednesdays and Sundays. Build up your mileage slowly.

  3. well if what you need is endurance then try swimming once in awhile when you have the time, doing suicideds, and jumping rope. I did all these things before i joined my schools soccer team and i never had as much endurance as i have now. hope i help and good luck with the cross country thing.
