  1. The easiest way is to buy a kit from Estes Industries or Apogee Rockets. You can buy a starter kit for about $30 that includes a rocket, a launch pad, a controller, and a couple of engines.

After you have built a few kits, you may want to try designing your own. The best way to do that is to buy an Estes "Designer's Special" set or equivalent, which includes an assortment of body tubes, nose cones, engine mounts, balsa stock and so on. I have one of these and you can make about a dozen rockets from one set.

To help with the design phase, and to make the best performing rockets, I highly recommend RockSim software from Apogee.

DO NOT TRY TO BUILD YOUR OWN ROCKET ENGINES, that is extremely dangerous and safe engines are NOT expensive. They cost a couple of bucks per flight.

Rocketry is a great hobby, I have been flying them for over 20 years and I have lots of fun with it. I've built hundreds of rockets over the years.

  2. put a dynamite up your ****!!!

  3. WHY DO YOU NEED TO DO THIS?

GET A MANUAL FOR HOMEMADE ROCKETS BUILDING

    EASY AS THAT

  4. it depends on the range you want it to fly.

  5. There are different things you can do. You can go out and buy one fully made, which it sounds like you don't want to do. You could buy a kit. Or you could build it from scratch. I will give you options for each:

(However, be careful building these rockets as they can be dangerous, and there are laws in most states that prohibit the height at which anything can fly, there was a recent news article about a "rocket" that was fired near a plane flying, they didn't know if it was an attack or not.)

    But have fun either way.

  6. With some baking soda and vinegar =)

  7. It is dangerous to build and even more to launch...
