How do I build muscle fast?

Ok so I'm a pretty athletic guy and I stay fit but I play waterpolo and for any one who is familiar with the sport you know its a tuff sport, so the thing is I want to build more muscle fast so what exercises should I do what eqipment should I buy and are the any nautrale supplements I should take oh and money is not a problem

  1. Work out a lot, and eat a lot of protien and STAY AWAY FROM FAT. After you work out eat some tuna or chicken breast, or meat thats low in fat high in protein. Stay away from red meat though, unless its fish. But eat a lot of protien and do a lot of working out. But change the muscles that you worl out form day to day, and don't work out when you are sore because that will cause you not to build muscle.

  2. Get an olympic barbell, weights and a squat rack. Do squats, dead lifts and bench presses. There is a good program in "Starting Strength" by Mark Ripptoe to follow (along with great explanations of how to do everything... I'd recommend getting that book ASAP). Eat a lot of healthy foods. For supplements, take a protein supplement but that is about it.  

  3. The key ingredient to gaining muscle mass is to add lots of PROTEIN to your daily diet. You should have 1.0-1.5 grams of protein for each pound you weigh. Protein helps your body to build lean muscle after your workout. Speaking of workout, I would start with simple toning exercises (low weight/more reps) to get your muscles used to being worked. After about 2 weeks you can go to the strengthening exercises (high weight/low reps). This will break down your muscles fast and with all the protein in your diet, when they heal it will be solid lean muscle mass. For natural supplements I take "Whey Protein". I also HIGHLY RECOMMEND "Creatine". Creatine provides you with more energy, so you will be able to workout more, and helps with your recovery time. It is known as the "legal steroid", because it allows you to become stronger and have more endurance. But it is naturally occuring in the body and foods, so there is no way to ban it.
