I really want to build my own terrain park because I want to be able to come home from school and just grab my board and shred without having to drive 45 minutes to the nearest mountian. Can you help me?

  1. I would say get some people over to help out.

If you have a hill get your friends to make some rails and jumps

For jumps I would recommend Making a natural jump with a good take off and transition. A lot of people make the mistake of doing a flat ground landing which will hurt after a couple of jumps.

For rails just have a piece of metal that won't rust and build up a little jump onto it

  2. when you say "terrain park" are we talking a rail or two or actual jumps and jibs and stuff... because for the latter ur gonna need some kind of heavy equipment to move serious snow

  3. Hey Gurl,

Check out my 360 page for a few ideas, i have a small jib park in my backyard, and we have some jumps  @ a friends house.

1st thing, you need to round up all your snowboarder friends to have them help, b/c u aint buildin it by yourself. Make sure where ever you start you have a little bit of a hill to get speed off, otherwise your gonna have to build a starting ramp and thats a huge pain in the butt. You can start by just building a jump or finding a rail somewhere.<The easiest way to build a decent jump is to find a hill to start on , with an area that goes from hill to flat, to another hill, so that you dont have to build a landing, and kinda build the jump close to the 2nd hill so that you land on the hill like a trasisition.
