How do I bump up sales quickly in a slow period at a nursery or floral shoppe business.?

I am first year greenhouse owner. I have went crazy selling plants in may, but now things have slowed down extremly. Also, I am an florist and trying to keep things afloat to pay past resources. Is there a way that I can keep going without sweating. I need some advice asap. can you help me soon, Thank you Rich in wolcottville,IN

  1. my guess would be that floral purchases slow down during some periods, and peak from feb 14th to late spring.

    if that is so, your best bet is to do some basic research on what sells best during what seasons.  you can ask an experienced florist, perhaps one will wander by this question itself.  

    it also couldn't hurt to find some supplemental income, or to advertise.  neither could it hurt to find more clients, have you considered selling plants to large retail chains (ie. home depot)?
