How do I burn an ISO on WIndows Vista?

I have an Intel iMac and a Full Version of Windows XP Pro that I would like to put on my Mac using Boot Camp. I get an error screen that says SESSION3_INITIALIZATION_FAILED and lots of 0's and x's. I looked up this error online and several sites suggest making a copy of the Windows Disk and using it, but it has to be burned on a computer other than the one I am loading it on. Doesn't make sense to me, but they say that works so I'm trying it. I have a Toshiba Laptop with Windows Vista on it and I managed to get XP as an ISO file on it, but I don't know how to burn it so it will work. I selected a data CD, popped in a dvd-r and just burned it that way, but my Mac does not recognize it as an install disk.

I have a friend who knows how to do this on XP, but we're all pretty clueless about the evilness of Vista. Anybody know something we don't?

  1. You need a disk burning program with either XP or Vista to do this. Vista actually has more burning options that XP (so is not so evil as you say), but does not natively burn ISO disc images.

  2. u need some ISO burning soft.Nero is one of thar and best one.but if u need free one u can get it from net.just google it..........................
