How do I burn songs onto a CD from LimeWire?

I downloaded some songs from limewire to put them on my iPod, but it says that limewire isn't compatible with my version of iTunes (I have the newest version)... why is that?

I figured I could put the songs onto a cd, then copy the songs from the cd onto iTunes, and my iPod... But how do I put the songs on the cd?

  1. Doesn't matter if Limewire thinks it's compatible or not. Use Limewire to download the songs. they should go into home/Shared folder. Then drag them into iTunes.

Make an album and put the songs you want in them, then hit the Burn Disc button at the bottom right. :)

(That's a basic idea of what you have to do. If you need more specifics ask me!)

  2. then upgrade your limewire.

you really don't need to put the songs on a cd but if you want to do that you can just locate the files on your computer

in xp : C:\documents and settings\(you)\shared (music is here)

in vista: C:\download ( i think) or limewire or one of those folders.

you could manually put them into a different folder and then try (for example your music folder) but if you want to make a cd out of them you could use several programs to do so (including itunes) for itunes you need to make a playlist to burn to the cd but you could use windows media player. nero . cdburner xp and tons of other free programs off www.download.com

  3. idk. Dont ask me,**Geting Points**
