Question:

How do I calculate my final GPA score?

Do I first add up my percentage average, and then plug my GPA scale into that? Or do I take the GPA score from all of my tests and average that out?

Thanks!

  1. A=4

    B=3

    C=2

    D=1

    F=0

    Add up all your grades using the above key then divide by the number of grades.  So 4 A's and 3 B's would look like this

    4x4=16 3x3=9 16+9=25  25/7= 3.57gpa

  2. Unless the college asks for GPA, you can just go with percentages.  If you do need to figure it out... you decide what percentage is worth an A, B...  traditional example below.   Grade each class, then take an average.

    93 - 100                 A 4.00

    90 - 92 A- 3.70

    87 - 89 B+ 3.25

    83 - 86 B 3.00

    80 - 82 B- 2.75

    77 - 79                 C+ 2.50

    73 - 76 C 2.25

    70 - 72 C- 2.00

    67 - 69 D+ 1.75

    63 - 66 D 1.50

    60 - 62 D- 1.25

    Good luck :D
