The TV spec says 10W, I am using a motorcycle battery to power it rated at 88W - does this mean it will run the TV for about 8.5 hours before being fully discharged?

  1. Sounds about right to me!

  2. the 88w of the bike battery means it gives out 88watts not how long it will last. if the battery if being charged it will last. if not time it your self.

  3. to get the amps your tv is using you divide the watts into the voltage ie 25w 230v is 9.2amp.

I doubt that you willl get 8.5 hours out of a motorcycle battery.
