I bought the Linksys CIT310 Cordless Phone. I am trying to call back stateside with it. The number must start off with a +1 area code then number. I have read the directions, but still unable to place a plus before the number to dial out. Yes, I do have Phone Out service. I can make the call from my computer, but I cannot make it thru the cordless phone. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

  1. you hold down the star button for a couple of seconds.

  2. The + sign is just a way to signify its international dialing.  Simply dial the international prefix, it varies in every country.  If you are in England, you would dial 00 - 1 - then the number.  You could find the necessary code in the phone book or at http://www.countrycallingcodes.com/index...

    Usually its 00 or 01.

  3. Did you try pressing and holding down the * (star) key or the # (pound) key?

That's usually how you get + P W N codes on most phones.
