How do I cancel a debit card?

How do I go about canceling a debit card? Who do I have to call and what information do I need to give? Please help!!

If you mean the card itself, then simply call whoever issued it to you and request that the card be cancelled. The card should have the contact info for whoever issued it; if not, then call or visit your bank and request a cancellaltion.

The phone number to call is on the back of the card. They'll need to know the card number and to identify you.

call your bank they will ask for your name and social or your account number then just tell them you need to cancel your debit card it is really a simple process nothing to fret about but if you need it done right now there should be a number on the back and the voice on there should lead you through the process.

you can call your local branch or their customer service number.all the bank needs to do is cancel the card and give you a replacement. it's really quick, your only step is to call your bank then wait for the card.(verify with them too if no transactions were made on the card when you lost it)
