How do I cancel my Yahoo Mobile Messenger?

I recently switched carriers and I wanted to cancel my subscription with the Yahoo Mobile Messenger because my new phone includes it with no charge and I think (because I haven't cancelled my previous subscription) it is affecting me from being able to sign in on my new phone. Someone please HELP!!!

I think this will help: If you wish to cancel your Yahoo! Phone In service, please follow the steps below:

Log in to your Yahoo! Voice account.

Click "My Services" at the top of the page.

Click the "Cancel" button.
