How do I care for my Astibles after they finish blooming?

The Astibles I planted are early bloomers, and now the buds are brown and ugly. Do I cut these off now that they are finished, or do I leave them?

Some people like the way they look, and leave them on all winter.  You can certainly cut the brown, spent flower stalks off, though!

I leave about 2 or 3 inches of the stalk on there.  It's not visible through the foliage, and it reminds me where it is, next spring!
