How do I catch a baby chipmunk?

my cat brought home a baby chipmonk and injured its front leg and now we have trapped it in my garage so we can catch it but im having trouble. i need to catch it soon so it doesnt die

  3. Catch it using peanut butter like someone mentioned, and then bring it to a wild animal shelter (like an Audubon Society) in the area. If it is injured, they will care for it.

    I volunteered at the Audubon Society when I was a teenager. We used to feed orphaned baby squirrels, opossums, skunks, etc. with eye droppers.

  5. Wrong section, feminists don't know. Try building an elaborate trap that take hours to build and doesn't work. That's what I would do.

  7. The chipmunk will die no matter what you do, sorry.  If it's a baby - and I doubt it is - its mother won't want it back, especially if you touch it, and you have no business touching it.

    And why are you asking in this forum anyway?
