  1. my uncle has a pond with carp he feeds them with bread and cat food so maybe you could use one of those items

    hope it helped

  2. You said it is your pond and the pond is small. So, catching them should be very easy. Feed them at exact same spot with same foods at around the same time for one week straight. Big carp will eat a lot during summer time, so give them plenty to eat. If you don't know what to feed them, you could just get a large bag of dog food. After a week, you stop feeding them and start fishing for them. Ground up some dog food and make them into dough balls. Needless to say, you cast your dough balls at the exact spot where you feed them.

If you think feeding them is cheating, then you could just fish for them. Dog food dough balls is still a good bait; you could buy dog food samples at most places. Check dog food ingredients and before you buy them because not all dog foods will work well. Bread will work too. If you like something fancy, you could even use strawberry jelly sandwich or peanut butter sandwich.

  3. they are probably grass carp and the only successful way i have caught a grass carp is to either foul hook it or i have also caught them before on a topwater plug with fresh cut grass tied around it.  it would also help if you throw a lot of grass into the pond and just let your plug float in the middle of it.

  4. we were catching carp on full clams out of the can and mixing it in with stink trout bait , some people have said chicken livers left in the sun will attract thier attention too

  5. bow and arrow work great.    If they are the grass carp that get really huge, they'll wipe out all the vegetation in your pond and you won't have any other fish after a while.....so it would be in your best interest to get rid of them soon.    the recomendation for the grass carp in most ponds is one per pond, so there is no chance of them reproducing and destroying the fish population.   It could be very important to get rid of them quickly.   might not be a bad idea to drain the pond as much as you can and hunt the carp out......drain it right before a big rain, so it can refill quickly

  6. use corn and let it sit on bottom Dont use BREAD

  7. they love dog food
