I got a new camera and it opens everything with Kodak easyshare or Quicktime. I need to open it with Windows Movie Maker so I can edit it to youtube. There's about 25 videos I need to cramp together. How do I change the file type?

Yeah.. I've tried that thing where you just click "Open with Windows Media Player" but then a window pops up and says it's not a supported file type.

  1. SoftPepper or something like that can convert anything into music file types or video file types.

    Dan.

  2. Find some file converter to convert whatever type it is into a .WMV file. I don't know what kind of file it is so I can't recommend any specific software. Once you convert it to a .WMV try to open it in Windows Movie Maker and it should work.
