How do I change e-high string in electric guitar?

I know all the theory of loosening it, cutting it, and pushing it through the hole in the back of the guitar, but HOW DO I PUSH IT? It's way too thin and it immediately bends, offering no strength to push it out

  1. The little 'nut' on the end of your string is jammed in there.

    Get a bit of stiff wire, (like a paper clip), and push

    it out. Once it's started it should go easily.


  2. If you have a tremolo unit, you should take the plastic cover off the back...it may be getting stuck on that
