Hello,

I am wishing to change my IP address, however I've not a clue how to :(

Could someone give me easy to read, not too technical advice?

I'm using a Vista PC.

  1. Sorry, you can't.  Your IP address is provided by your ISP.  The only way to change it out of your own will is to buy a static IP address from them for an extra monthly fee, or try your luck and call them up and request a change.  The worst they can do is say no.

There is absolutely no way to change your IP if it is provided dynamically by your ISP.  It changes automatically after a given amount of time.
