  1. tricky question. The new Yahoo ID would have to subscribe to the group, and then you'd use any e-mail address you wanted.

unless you create an alias off the primary Yahoo ID, there is no way to simpy 'switch' Yahoo ID's within a group other than resubbing

  2. Sign in anywhere on Yahoo and click on "My Account" at top of page.

On right side of page underneath Public Information, click on Edit/Create Profiles.

    Click "Create New Public Profile".

In the blank field to right of "Name Your Profile", Enter your new user ID info.

Under "Expand Your Profile", it's not necessary to complete any info but you do need to select the correct existing email address you want to use with the new ID.

Underneath "Choose Display Options", select if you want to add the new ID (profile) in the Y! Member Directory and if you want to display how long you have been a Yahoo member on the profile.

    Click "Create Profile".

Now, go to your "mygroups" page http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups and click on the Edit My Groups tab. For EACH group where you want to use the new ID, click on the corresponding drop-down arrow in the Yahoo Profile column and select the new ID.

If you have more than one page of groups, be sure to go to the next page(s) and do the same.

When finished, click Save Changes located in the lower right corner of page.
