My private IP address or local ip address assigned to me is.. 192.168.1.100 apprently 192 means I am behind a firewall I think.. when I try host a game online, for instance on gamespy arcade it says "GameSpy Arcade has detected that your computer's internal IP address (192.168.1.100) is different than its external IP address (81.97.11.231). This may be caused by firewalls, a NAT proxies, or other unusual network configurations and may prevent you from hosting a game."
I've turned off my windows firewall and currently only have the router protection but also have 3rd party protection if needed.
How do I stick to 1 IP so that other people can connect to me if I host a room online, because otherwise I am told they can't see my room.
Advice,tips,hints are all greatly appreciated.
If you need more info I am glad to give it
