How do I change my name on my social security card?

I got married and I need to cahnge my name on my card. Can anyone tell me what the process is

Go by your nearest S.S. office and bring the legal documents

example: marraige, or divorce papers and birth certificate and they will do it at the S.S. office.  ( I would call ahead and see what day is the slowest, because sometimes you will have to wait in line a while)

Look up your local SS office in your phone book, bring your original birth certificate and marriage certificate, current driver's license, and fill out a form.  They will mail you your card in less than 2 weeks.  Call first to confirm what documents you need to bring. It is like going to Motor Vehicle Bureau.
