How do I change my oil pan gasket on my 1985 celica gts?

Will it damage the axel if I just remove the engine mount bolts and jack the engine up an inch or so?

wont hurt it at all sir, just use a 2 x 4 between the engine and the jack

I highly recommend you pick up a chilton's or haynes repair manual for more info.

You will not damage your axles!
