I have 100 channels but I can only flip between channel 2 and 8. What gives? I can manually enter in the channel numbers on the remote but cant flip to a new one from there. I just moved to this area and have no idea what the channels are, so being able to flip through them is important.

  1. There should be a setting in your TV's menus for "Scan for channels"; select that and let the TV complete the scan.

The TV still has the channels from your last home in memory.  Scanning will make it discover what channels are available in your new area.

I hope this helps.  Please return and select a best answer from all of those submitted.

  2. there should be a setting on you tv (in the menu) that says set channels, or something to that extent. IT will then scan all the channels one by one , finding all the channels that have a signal. It should take about 2 minutes, and you will see it scanning. When its done. you can then surf. Good luck.

  3. Go into the Menu and find the Autoprogram. Might be in set-up. It will take a while but will find all the channels and then you will able to scan.
