Do as follows:

General Channel Questions: Channel backgroundTo create a customised background image, follow the steps below:

1.Log in and click "My Account" in the upper right-hand corner.

2.In the Channel Settings section, click the "Channel Design" link (http://uk.youtube.com/my_profile_theme).

3.Scroll down to the "Advance Customisation Setting" section.

4.In the "Background Image (URL)" field, paste the URL of the image you'd like to use as your background. Please note that this URL can be no longer than 64 characters and must end with your image's file type, such as .jpg or .gif.

5.Decide whether you'd like your image to repeat across your channel or appear only once. Choose "Yes" or "No" next to the "Repeat Background Image" field.

6.Click the "Update Channel" button.

Note: In order to add a custom background image, the original image must already be online!

Tip: The "Channel Preview" area to the right of the customisation fields should update as you make changes. This will give you a basic idea of how your channel will appear once you've updated it.

Thumbnails: Add/Change Profile PictureYou are able to choose a picture to represent you and your Channel on YouTube. To upload an image to your Channel please follow the steps below:

1.Click "My Account"

2.Under "Manage My Channel", click the "Personal Profile" link.

4.Click the "Browse" button and select an image.

5.Click the "Upload picture" button.

How to Get a Background on YouTube

1 Go on YouTube.com.

2 Log in or create an account.

3 Go to Google

4 Click on "Images".

5 Type in the url leading to the picture you want.

6 Click on the picture so it enlarges.

7 Right click and hit "Copy".

8 Paste into Youtube.

9 Click "Update your Channel."

10 There you go!

use windows movie maker (included in your windows machine)... it can help you make beautiful slideshow or video clip(e.g. mixing your songs with pictures/video/lyrics/etc).... then save it as video file such as wmv... finally upload.

or .. Just get those clips you want , save & convert them, and then mix/match with pix/sound/etc using windows movie maker to create new masterpieces....
