I have lost the guide book anbd was out yesterday trying photograph buses etc. Unfortunately the light deteriorated and my usual 1/4000th of a second needed to be dropped to probably 1/3200th of a second. I can1`t remember how you access this option on the camera. Thanks

  1. Turn the control dial to 'S' then use the scroller dial to change the shutter.   I would be tempted to use an ever lower shutter speed.  1/250th max.     This will let you use a lower ISO speed and will also let you increase depth of field (helping focusing speed ) by forcing a smaller aperture (higher f-number)
