How do I change the extension on a movie from a camera?

I want to change it from 100_0673.MOV to the .MOV being something else.

Adam has answered your direct question, but I would add that simply changing the extension does not convert the file to a different the file type; it only changes its name!

In the folder where your file is click

Tools > Folder Options

Then the View tab at the top

Then uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types"

Then rename the file from 100_0673.MOV to another extension.

Examples:

100_0673.avi

100_0673.3gp

100_0673.mpeg
