The self-timer on the Nikon D70 has a default delay of 10 seconds, but can be lengthened I believe to 20 seconds. How do I do this?

  1. It's in the CSM menu one that looks like a pencil  it would be #24.

The camera CSM menu needs to be in detail too find that go to the one that looks like a wrench it would be under format command.

  2. Since the object in the front of camera can't wait for camera until 20 seconds or more that why the cameras have  desiged at 10 seconds that highest time of self-timer. And you can't.

  3. I have a similar nikon digital SLR, and i know that when you press the " fn " button on the side of the menu, it cycles through the shooting modes, like continuous, and remote control. And, like your camera, mines can only go on 10 second self-timer, i've been through all of the menus, and i can't see how to change it, i think you're referring to a different camera.
