I right-clicked it and opened "properties", but it didn't give me an option to adjust the time. Is there any other way I can do this? Thanks♥ in advance.

  1. You can double click the time itself. It will bring out a window. On the Date & Time tab, you can change the settings there. If you would want the time to be synchronized with an internet server time, click on the Internet Time tab. and place a check on the "automatically synchronize with an internet time server" if you dont want to do that, just uncheck that option. After you have change the time. You can click apply then click ok.

  2. Are U in a different time zone than your PC ??

  3. If its any version of Windows doubles, try right clicking it and go to adjust Date/Time or

Go to the Control Panel (via the Start Menu) and click on "Date and Time"

  4. click right on the numbers, it should open up the clock. if not go to your start menu and then to "control panel". there should be an option to change the time in there.

  5. start..control panel..date and time. or just double left click it.

  6. Besides double clicking on it, you may also right click -> Adjust Date/Time

  7. 1. Open the group policy editor focused on the appropriate object. If the

server is a member of the domain, apply to the organizational unit of that

server. If it is not a member of the domain, apply via the Local Computer

    Policy.

    2. Navigate to the following subtree location: Computer

    Configuration\WindowsSettings\Security Settings\Local Policies\User Rights

    Assignment.

    3. Double click on the User Right 'Change the system time'.

    4. Verify that this user right is assigned to administrators

You canopen Group policy by Start->run->gpedit.msc

  8. To change the time, simply double click on the time itself. It usually automatically adjusts for daylight savings time and such.

However, if your computer's time is always wrong or resets itself, it could be a problem with the battery powered hardware clock on your computer (this is located inside the tower and keeps track of time with your computer is turned off). To adjust this clock, you need to go into the BIOS. When your computer is starting up and you get all those text screens, press delete or one of the F keys (it usually says something on the screen press whatever key to enter the BIOS setup). Once you are in the BIOS (which is a menu essentially) play around until you find the time and change it. Just be careful and don't mess with too many things in the BIOS if you don't know what you are doing. Make sure to save and exit. If this does not fix ur clock problem, it may be the clock's battery so take it into a computer shop and ask them to fix it.
