How do I change what happens on startup?

how do i change what programs start when i start my computer?

try ccleaner, it is a very nice software. after installation click tools on the left side. there are 2 tools, uninstall and startup. click startup then choose any program you dont like and disable it.

go to run box type

msconfig

hit enter

To make a program or file startup when your computer turns on, right click START at the bottom left and click on explore. There will be a file called Programs click on it. In that file there will be a file called Startup. Go into it. Now if you add a file or program into this folder, that will open when you turn on your computer.

Run>msconfig>start up

then check or uncheck the programs that has to do with your concern.

Click Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > System Configuration > Start Up Tab > Then you can uncheck the programs that you don't want to start when windows starts up.
