  1. The best way is to first find out how the beverage manager is counting. Are they counting in points or are they using a scale. Points is the easiest way, each bottle is 1.0. As it is used, it becomes a .9, .8, .7 etc., until it is empty. So half a bottle is considered .5. You just have to "eyeball it", to get the count. As long as the amount listed is within one point, you will be fine.

If you do a scale and weigh the liquor, it takes much longer, but it is more accurate. In this case, each bottle has a different starting weight, (e.g. smirnoff vodka might be 44, crown royal 52) this is due to the fact that the bottles are different weights, but of course the amount of liquor is the same (either 750ml or 1 litre). Last, make sure ALL bottles being used are either 750ml or 1 litre, there shouldn't be 2 sizes, or it throws everything off. Also, check your standard procedures and past practices for reference of what should be done according to company specifications. Good Luck!
