  1. Check out this site - they have some credit report offers up there.

  2. freecreditreport.com     Should have seen it comin at me, like an atom bomb!

  3. You can go here,

    http://www.freecreditreport.com/default....

  4. They don't give you your score for free...you have to pay for it.

Myfico.com will get you your credit score.

It will cost you some money, but it doesn't hurt you to check your own score or report.

  5. Obtaining a copy of your credit report (once or twice a year, whichever is applicable in your jurisdiction) by yourself or through an authorized agency will not hurt or harm your credit score. If you do not ask for the score, it will not be included in the report.  Normally, a small amount of money is required to obtain the report and score from the three major credit bureaus.

I would, however, prefer you obtain your credit report and score by yourself directly from the three major credit bureaus – to further protect your identity.

  6. The credit bureaus are not required to supply free credit scores...only credit reports.

Unless you want to play the games of signing up for a credit monitoring service like freecreditreport.com you will have to pay.

By the way...TransUnion lost a class action lawsuit.  If you had a credit card, bank loan, or any other type of account that could be reported by the credit bureaus, you qualify to be a participant.  You can get 9 months of free credit monitoring, reports, and scores.  Just visit https://www.listclassaction.com for information and to register as a participant.
