How do I check my memory, hard drive and video card on my computer?

And can I delete things or something so I have 512 MB, 2.1 GB for hard drive and 128 MB for video card? Also the processor?

(Bought a computer game, am trying to get it to work!)

  1. To runa game your system needs minimum requirements, You need a strong enough prcessor, enough RAM, and the proper graphics card.

    You can download the BelArc advisor that is safe and free, it list everything about your computer for easy reference. It scnas your PC, then tells you everyhting from hardware and software to what pdates you currently have and how portected your PC is.


  2. Start -> Control panel.  Double click System.

    For your hard drive open up My Computer, right click the drive and click Properties.

    Please check on the CD of Game , what hardware requirements are shown on   it.

    now note them, you will want to check if you all this in your PC right ?

    1. I would go to My Computer and Arrange the files in Details so that it shows complete hard disk size and free size.

    2. Memory : I would right click on My computer and then Click on Properties. It opens a windows which shows the Memory as well as the Operating system,

    3. If you want to delete something, be careful, but you unhide the files in your system and go to c:\Documents and Settings\ <user>\Local Settings\ Temp

    and delete everything Temp folder has by CTRL A and delete later.

    4. this will give you what you wanted to play the game..
