95 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. The brake lights are not working and I have changed all the bulbs. The lights work when I am at a stop but not when I am moving. If you have any advice on what might be wrong please answer I would really appreciate it!

  1. If everything else works the way its suppose to then you'll have to check the wire from the headlight switch to the tail lights, if you signal light doesn't work then it could be in that switch or wire loom.

  2. turn on your parking lights,  now go see if they're all lit.

brake lights are only supposed to work when you put you foot on the brake peddle, it activates the light switch.   when you let off the brake the brake lights go out.

  3. Your brake lights are only supposed to be on when you step on the brake pedal, not when you are driving. Don`t try and fix what isn`t broken

  4. It sounds to me like you might have a connection that's loose somewhere - one before the circuit splits back there at the lights.  Check the wiring after the pedal switch.
