  1. CRF150's dont come with drum brakes, they all come stock with disc brakes front and rear.  You will have to take off the actual brake pads and look at them. There should be a couple of lines, vertical I believe, showing the point at which they need to be repaired.  If the face of the pad is flush or getting close to the grooves, they need to be replaced. If you need more information about anything 4-stroke related, create an account and check the forums at Thumpertalk.com.  Good Luck

  2. what's up, well there are 2 types of CRF 150's.. there are the race crf150"R" and the regular crf150 which do have drums. you take off the rear wheel, **noting where all spacers and washers go** and the drum will fall right out.. check the shoes, and drum for any major wear, scrapes, and dirt. if you can't eyeball it, get a measurement of the ID (inside diameter) of the drum, and check in your manual to see if your measurements are in spec. after that you should have a pretty good idea of what you need..

if you do replace the drum, or pads be sure to adjust the pedal freeplay as needed, by turning in the nut on the drum in or out.. turning it out gives more free play and in provides less free play..

  3. take it somewhere you have no idea of how they work

    and
