She has a wide variety of interests including dance, gymnastics, violin, piano, swimming and more. I can only choose one. Being a four year old; she changes her mind on which is her most favorite daily! So, how would you go about deciding which to enroll her in?

  1. i think that's the perfect age to start learning a language, but maybe it's better a sport...I'll say gymnastic

  2. Being four years old she is developing rapidly - one day she may be working on physical development and another day her growth may be cognitive.  So she has reason to not know her favorite (and look at us trying to decide).  The violin is a difficult instrument to learn.  I'm not sure how old piano teachers want their beginning students to be.  Swimming and gymnastics are basically physical while dance would involve both music and movement.  Of the ones you mention, I think dance would be the most fun.  But then, I liked crafts. Whatever you choose, stay involved for the "season" and discourage her from being a quitter.  Explore other options as the time is right.  It is great that you can provide her with a wide variety of opportunities, but don't feel that at age four she Must be involved in organized activities as there will be time enough during her school age years.

  3. well what you could do is rotate her lessons and give her a choice of one type of lesson for 6 months to see if she really enjoys something but I took gymnastics violin dance horseback riding scuba swimming and I didnt have to do them all at once... as far as instruments I would say 4 is almost a bit young for that based on practise and disipline thats needed at 4 its a bit much to want to do that I would suggest starting with dance or gymnastics because they are physically active and teach a healthy lifestyle and swimming well thats something everyone should know how to use so let her get her taste of a little bit of everything and she will let you know when shes ready to stick to something personal oppinion based on what my mom did with me but take it as you will

  4. Although I am partial to music... I'm gonna say go with dance or gymnastics. I love music and it's very important. And playing the paino at such a young age teaches them so much! As long as you keep a piano in your house and encourage her to play it on her own, you can hold off on lessons for now. Children that age have lots of energy, so dance or gymnastics would be perfect to help her get rid of energy and build flexibility and coordination. Hopefully in a few years you will be able to provide her with 2 activity options, and hopefully you continue to encourage her artistic side!

  5. just buy her a electrc guitar let her try something new

  6. FIND A PLACE THAT WILL LET HER "JOIN IN" FOR 2  CLASSES IN EACH INTERST THEN LET HER MAKE DECISION AFTER SHE HAS HAD THE EXPERIENCE .DO NOT GET INTO LONG TERM COMMINTMENTS. BEING SHE IS SO YOUNG.

  7. Unless she is particularly adept at playing an instrument, getting her involved in a sport or dance has the added benefit of helping her with her social skills.  She will develop new friends and incorporate having fun into doing something that is good for her.

  8. First you have to know what is her most favorite and her best talents then you have to tell her that whatever she chooses she have to continue it for you will be spending money on her things for it will be a waste of money if she'll suddenly stopped. That's how I talk to son when he was six years old and he wanted to learn taekwando before buying his uniforms and equipments
