Having spent 16 months living and working full-time in Berlin, being charged a hefty whack in Social Security payments while there, I now understand these can me credited towards my UK contributions and so support my state pension. entitlement Is this so, and if yes, how do I transfer them to the UK?

  1. I think this is a 'finance' question. Try fixing an appointment with Federal Tax office. If this is not possible, check with an accountant who is familiar with international tax structures.
