There was black stuff growing on the peach and the carpet now has the same black stuff on it. Is this mold? How can I not only clean the stain, but disinfect as well.

  1. a general mix of detergent/water (1teaspoon of CLEAR dish soap per cup of water) should clean most carpet stains. vinegar/water mix (1/3 vin. 2/3 water) works for pet urine, may work for the mold too. however the mold may have also penetrated under the carpet and into the padding. you can either have the carpet professionally deep cleaned, or if you have any carpet left over from the install, replace the mold section altogether

  2. I would stay away from peaches from now on, then. Someone choked on a peach pit, they make your thighs fat, and APPARENTLY stain rugs...peaches are not good to have around!!
