  1. hot water

  2. well open it up and wash it with disinfectant and wrinse with hot water and make sure you dry it hope this helped =)

  3. Just rinse it out with some soap and hot  water. Use a sponge that you won't need to use again, or just use it for the balls. Rinse it out very, very well as soap residue is harmful to your hamster. I had mine in exercise balls all day sometimes and was constantly cleaning them.

  4. Rinse with cold/hot water or scrub if it stinks, dry with a soft towel.

  5. Rinse it out with hot water and a tiny bit of soap.

  6. Open it and wash it out with soap & water and rinse it real good.

  7. I always had the hardest time getting rid of stink, but that's because I found myself always using HOT water.

Overnight, put it in a sink full of really cold water and soap.  You don't have to scrub it at all and in the morning, it'll smell better.  Maybe not new, but if you do that every night for a few nights, the smell will rid.

When the ball smells clean after however many nights you chose to leave it in there, every time after your hamster runs in the ball, you should put it in some cold water with some soap.  It won't need to be over night though.  Just for fifteen or so minutes and it'll be good as new again.  ^^

If all else fails, try the old Vinegar splash.  Just take some vinegar and put it on there.  I've tried that on my chinchilla ball, but neither hot water nor vinegar helps..  Only cold water.  ^^  Same thing in the past for multiple hamsters, gerbils, mice, etc.
