Try Lexol.  It's a product made for saddles and tack.  You can usually find it in tack & feed stores, but sometimes they have it in hardware stores.  It comes in a squarish, orange plastic jug.  It's an oil which will also waterproof your leather goods a bit.  It's great stuff.  It can also revive old, dry, cracked leather.
