Question:

How do I clean my system of alcohol?

I am on probation and had a really bad weekend so ended up drinking on sunday night. I think I will probably be p**s tested for it around noon on tuesday. I know nothing would show up for a breathlyzer but I'm not so sure about a p**s test (possibly EtG testing). Is there any way I can speed up the alcohol through my system so that I don't test positive?

  1. Why do people keep saying it would be gone?!?!?  Do ANY of you know what an EtG test is?  (I'm guessing no, or else you'd know that it can detect alcohol use for up to 72 hours (thats THREE days for you math impaired folks) after you start drinking.)  If you drank Sunday night, and they do run an EtG test, you aren't "clear" until Wednesday night.  With other tests you are probably clear.

Honestly, I hope you do "pee a positive".  Your on probation for something, and turned to alcohol after having "a really bad weekend".  These are signs of someone who needs help.  With any luck, you will test positive, and you PO will help you get the assistance you need.  Good luck.

Edit: Forgot to mention, do NOT drink a lot of water.  You will get a "diluted" result, which automatically equals a positive.  I would not consume a lot of water for this reason.

  2. It has to be gone already. Once your body breaks all of it down it leaves the blood stream. If you think about it, if it stayed in your body for a long time you wouldn't be able to drive for a few days after a big party.

  3. Number one, don't count on them doing it on Tuesday, they can do this anytime they want. True. Alcohol takes 48 hours to leave the system. If they check a hair sample, and it will show up there as well as urine, you are sol. Drugs and alcohol can now be detected with both hair, blood and urine samples. Yes, it will show up there. If you managed to get most of it out of your system, you might get a false positive, in which they would wait  day and retest it. By then, it would be totally gone. But for future info, never assume they will keep the test day the same for a reason. They re out to catch you, know this and don't make the same mistake twice. My info comes from interviewing for a job that tests for alcohol and drugs for all kinds of jobs. Its solid info.

  4. it is already gone.

but drink water and more water

  5. Drink lots of water & cranberry juice.  The other thing to clean out your system of alcohol is time & AA.

    Good Luck

  6. Depending on how much alcohol you consumed, it would take about 24 hours for it to be extracted from your system.  Be sure to drink plenty of water, and drinking plenty of Gatorade wouldn't hurt either.

  7. try to p**s alot, drink alot of water and cranberry juice

  8. Alcohol only stays in the system for 24 hrs so your'e good.

  9. Niacin niacin niacin water water water cranberry juice any drinks with niacin. Go to any pharmacy and purchase niacin in the vitamin section. If your on probation your def going to need to take that everyday if your not going to be following the rules! You def do not want to violate! They also have detox vitamins for your kidneys and liver in stores now aswell!

  10. I dont think they can test for it because it stays in your blood and should be gon in a day or two drink water maybe
