I've read on knee pad label that you shouldn't use bleach. Any ideas?

  1. Uhh well what I do to mine is i put them in the bathroom sink and i mix washing detergent and water and handwash them. If they are white you can use a little bit of bleach and then you can hang them up to  dry or sit them somewhere to dry. But whatever you do..DO NOT use a washing machine or a dryer(well you can use it...just make sure they get completely dry so they dont mess up)

  2. Ozone works beautifully, try an product like Oxyclean as it uses ozone bubbles to clean in the laundry. An air purifier that is catalitic based is even better. Only one company has one that can do that effectively, all the others are filters and just can't compete.

  3. first of all...volleyball cant be washed in the washing machine because theres a possibility that it might get destroyed...you can clean your volleyball using foam nd soap..and you can laundry your knee pads...

  4. bye new ones...cuz myne get clean bye puttin em into the washing machin

  5. well sometimes you arn't sopose to listen to the labels.

  6. i would get new ones!  since they are that bad then u probably havent washed them in a long time so u definetly should get in the habit of washing them!

  7. My friend had the same problem what you need to do is buy new ones!! :)

  8. You could try bleaching them....that's what I normally do, unless they're black..

  9. i WASH MiNE EVERY WEEK OR EVERY OTHER WEEK SO THEY DONT GET TOO NASTY SO iF YOU BUY A NEW PAiR THATS WHAT i'D DO AND TURN EM iNSiDE AND CLEAN THEM BY HAND THEN REWASH BY USiNG A MACHiNE

  10. I always washed my knee pads inside out, spraying them with Febreeze when they were dried.  When They were sitting, I always put a drier sheet in each kneepad, and in each shoe as well.  That helps with the odors between uses.

If the stink don't come out, buy another pair.

What I also did - I had three pair of pads, and would rotate, washing a pair after each use.  That way, they were only worn once before washing.  It kept the smell down, but it killed the elastic in them.

  11. flip the inside out, put in machine use tide with frebreez, than added frabric softner like downey with frebreez (best to use the same scent). When you dry them in the dryer add bounce that should help. when your done using them after practice wait till tehy are dry and spray with frbreez. Hope that helps some

  12. It's hard to get rid of the stink. I played college vball and even our equipment manager couldn't get the stink out and we had GOOD washing machines at the gym... You can try frebreeze....but then it just smells like smelly kneepads with a hint of Frebreeze...

  13. can i smell them

  14. Getting rid of that is almost impossible. The best suggestion: get new ones, you probably have had these for a while, am I right? I went through the same thing and I ended up buying new ones, and I'm glad I did!

  15. either buy new ones or add febreeze or some other fabric spray

  16. after u wash them try putting those fabric softening things in them!!

they smell really good after that.

u may also want to try some fabreeze, but that wears of easily!

if u dont know wut i mean, ask ur mom,she puts them in the washing machines so that their socks wont stick to their pants.

  17. get new ones.

  18. get a better  washing machine
