How do I clean tooth paste off the carpet and couch?

The whitening types of toothpaste actually bleach fabrics.  It should have come off with wet cloth and mild detergent.

Use a spray bottle with water and vinegar, spray the spots and then rub the spots with a soft brush or sponge and try to dry with clean cloth.
