How do I clean up my credit bureau report?

I filed bk three years ago and there is still so much wrong with it...is there a company that does this for you since I don't need credit counseling, thats why I filed bk?

  1. When your bankruptcy discharged all debts included should read included in bankruptcy and show a $0 balance.

    Any that do not read this way can be corrected simply by disputing them with the credit bureaus.

    They will continue to show on your report for 7-years from the date of first delinquency per the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the bankruptcy will show for 10 years from the date of discharge.


  2. It sounds like you just need to dispute these things with the bureaus. You can do so online and just state as your reason that they were discharged in bankruptcy.

    Don't hire anyone to do this for you. You would just be wasting money.
