How do I clean up this oil?

What is the best way to clean oil off of metal?

Use some ammonia. It will cut the oil but be sure not to breathe it in. Do it outside if possible.

sprinkle it with kitty litter, rub it in a bit, toss the kitty litter in the trash, then wash the metal with dishwashing detergent and wipe dry.

I heard lighter fluid works.  Remember to read the warnings though.
