  1. Vinegar and water in a spray bottle; soap is not necessary.  Use newspaper; there is no lint to leave behind.

  2. Also, wash the windows when the sun is not at its brightest.  That can dry the cleaning solution before you have a chance to get it with your paper towel or newspaper which will make streaks.  Try for the morning or when the sun's going down.

The posts about vinegar and, maybe a small amount of dishwashing liquid, with water is the best.

  3. You can use any number of liquid concoctions available however, I like to ue microfiber towel or newspaper.. It won't leave streaks or lint!

    Good luck

  4. You can spray it with Windex and use a squeegee, that usually gets the streaks off and doesn't leave any liquid behind to leave "water marks"

  5. I use a product called SprayWay. You can get it at most grocery stores. I get mine at Sam's Club. Window are my nemisis. This product really works. Unfortunately, it is in an aerosol.

  6. WATER WHASING UP SOAP AND VINDGER AND NEWSPAPPER

  7. vinegar and water, just like in the old days.

  8. Newspaper

  9. I use windex and newspapers. You can also use carbonated water.- whn I worked at McDonalds in HS that is what they had us use to clean the mirrors around the fry's it worked great- but where is a person going to get carbonated water??????/

  10. I always use warm water with washing up liquid and a dash of vinegar in it.  Wash the window, wipe it down with kitchen towel.  Smear free every time !!! :o)

Wish my kids would wash my windows for me lol

  11. 1/2 water 1/2 Hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle.  I always use newspaper (and I don't get streaks...don't know if it's the peroxide and water or the newspaper) but this really works.  The mixture also works on chrome, tubs, showers, etc. etc.  It's really something!

  12. warm water & white vinegar works for our windows

  13. Dampen a couple of pages of a newspaper  with water.  It works a treat, is cheap and a newspaper should be readily available.
